[Project Overview and Responsibilities]

We are looking for a data scientist with over 4 years of experience.

We perform data analysis and implement machine learning for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, developing anomaly detection algorithms. We also perform failure prediction and integrate these into tools to contribute to customer service.

We develop algorithms using data analysis and machine learning for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and integrate them into equipment control to promote the automation and autonomy of our products.

• We analyze data from semiconductor manufacturing equipment, implement algorithms into tools, identify and improve problems, and then solve them.
• We analyze data from semiconductor manufacturing equipment and develop automation/autonomous algorithms focused on manufacturing equipment management and integration.
• Understand and analyze the requirements.
• To eliminate issues that hinder team performance, build collaboration between the team and the client.
• Deliver high-quality work deliverables within the scheduled timeframe.
• Supporting customer QA testing
• Report on progress, risks, and issues as required by the customer.
• To build and cultivate relationships with our Japanese customers.

[Team Structure]

• Field Engineering Department – Works in collaboration with customer teams in our Group.
• Currently, the team consists of one team leader and nine team members (experienced members will be assigned as mentors).
• The project will proceed with collaboration among team members located in different places.

?Requirements? Must Have

• Experience in algorithm development using machine learning or related technologies.
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB, and R languages ??for data creation and algorithm development.
• Experience with the Agile Software Development Model
• Excellent problem analysis and documentation skills
• Powerful communication and collaboration skills to fully integrate our highly advanced collaboration environment

Good to Have

• Experience using KNIME and DXP for tool development and analysis.
• Experience using Spotfire
• Japanese communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts.
• Experience with simulation techniques using physical models related to semiconductor processes.

Language Skill

• English – Basic level (not required)
• Japanese – JLPT N2 level or higher
