[Business content] Responsibilities
As an on-site engineer, you will collaborate with various departments and be involved in embedded control software development. You will also work with offshore teams to support the development and management of various software programs in line with our customers’ product development cycles.
- Understand the existing system architecture and system-level requirements.
- We work closely with various departments of the customer to understand their requirements.
- Create and update specifications in Japanese/English.
- Prepare the system design and develop using C, GTK, and Qt languages.
- Perform software verification based on the design.
- Maintain benchmark levels for source code version control, quality, unit testing, and code coverage.
- Project management and schedule management
- Verify the software on the device and fix any problems found during testing.
- Supporting customer quality assurance testing

Work Experience

?Requirements? Must Have
- C programming experience in a Linux operating system environment
- Practical experience in GUI design using Qt
- Practical experience in C programming and IPC, multithreading and synchronization, thread priority, and memory optimization.
- Practical experience in creating design specifications, including UML diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and document creation skills (in Japanese and English)
- Practical experience in developing and integrating multilayer applications
- Practical experience in schedule management and SDLC management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
??Nice requirements? Good to Have
- Knowledge of Linux build environments (makefile rules, etc.)
- Knowledge of Linux processes, tasks, memory, etc.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
- Knowledge of SEMI standards and verification
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and its integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jekins, Bamboo, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
- Experience in on-site and offshore project execution.
Language Skill
