Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Estimation & Costing Engineer responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, budgets, and financial analysis for construction and formwork-related projects. The candidate will evaluate project drawings, specifications, quantities, labor, materials, and equipment costs to support tendering, budgeting, and project execution activities.

The role requires close coordination with project, design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure effective cost planning, budget control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in civil construction estimation, quantity surveying, cost control, and project financial management with experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or formwork industry projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related expenses.
• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial constraints.
• Monitor budget performance and identify any variances or discrepancies.
• Prepare regular budget reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain effective cost control procedures to monitor and manage project expenses.
• Track project costs and expenditures, ensuring they remain within approved budget limits.
• Identify and analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate any financial risks.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including cost analysis, budget status, and financial performance metrics.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to project managers, senior management, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and financial regulations.

Qualifications

BE/ B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical

Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Quantity Survey, NICMAR or similar.
