About our Innovation Centre

Our Innovation Centre’s team currently consists of about 15 people and is responsible for the development of conductive additives and active materials used in various applications including lithium-ion batteries.

Key Responsibilities:

Data generation for in-house product innovation

Battery Fabrication & Testing: Carry out in-house battery fabrication and performance testing to support product innovation.

Data Generation & Analysis: Collect, document, and analyse physical and electrochemical performance data for our products to guide R&D decision-making.

Formulation & Chemistry Work: Contribute to the development and optimization of multiple battery formulations and chemistries.

Support for R&D laboratory practices.

Laboratory Operations: Manage and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance and compliance with quality standards.

Inventory & Consumables Management: Track, organize, and replenish laboratory chemicals and consumables as needed.

Capability Development: Support the setup, installation, and commissioning of new laboratory equipment and in-house testing capabilities.

Compliance & Safety: Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a safe, well-documented laboratory environment.

Skills and requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.

Prior experience in lithium-ion battery fabrication is a strong plus.

Hands-on experience in an R&D laboratory environment, including work in controlled atmospheres (e.g., glovebox).

Experience working with hazardous chemicals (powders, nano powders, organics, acid/base, etc)

Experience with materials characterizations techniques (conductivity, BET surface area, TGA, OAN, pycnometer, particle size analyser, electrochemical techniques, etc)
