Positions:2 Full Time
Role Overview
This role combines paid media craft execution with end-to-end account ownership. You will own 1–2 accounts independently across Meta Ads and Google Ads.
This is a senior IC craft role focused on execution depth, hypothesis-driven testing, and mentorship of junior strategists. You will not own platform strategy (that’s the SAS-III) and you will not own client conversations (that’s the AM). What you do: build campaigns from the playbook, test creative, optimize bid strategy, read learnings, and ship.
About Us
We are a paid media agency working with B2B SaaS and DTC brands. We focus on Meta Ads, Google Ads, and YouTube, with an emphasis on:
- Measurable outcomes
- Structured decision-making
- Clear written communication
We operate as a lean, craft-focused team where depth in core platforms is prioritized over breadth.
What You’ll Own
1. Account Execution (End-to-End)
- Own one account end-to-end — campaign structure, audience strategy, bid management, creative rotation
- Make optimization calls without asking permission
- Read the playbook and execute
- Bring platform questions to the SAS-III, scope questions to the AM
2. Test Cadence
- Run 4–8 tests per quarter, hypothesis-driven
- Brief creative partners and design test matrices
- Read results, extract learnings, write learning memos
- Defend your test designs in weekly craft reviews
3. Weekly Campaign Optimization
- Bid adjustments, placement strategy, audience overlap fixes, creative rotations
- Spot trends before they become problems
- Submit a weekly platform performance memo
4. SAS-I Mentorship
- Review SAS-I builds before they go live
- Answer their platform questions
- Run biweekly 1:1s on craft skill development
5. Weekly Craft Reviews
- Friday craft reviews with SAS-III and SAS-I
- Show your builds, defend your test designs, get pushed on your thinking
- This is how you level up
What You Bring to the Table
Platform Expertise
- 3–5 years hands-on paid-media experience (agency or in-house)
- Strong fundamentals on both Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Have built campaigns, not just managed them
- Can audit an account on either platform and spot the obvious problems
Test Design Thinking
- Hypothesis-driven approach to testing
- Can isolate variables cleanly (or confound them with explicit reasoning)
- Can read results and extract real learning
- Has examples of tests that failed and what they taught
Curiosity
- Sees platform changes and asks “what does this mean for our playbook?”
- Reads platform updates and thinks about how to test for them
- Doesn’t accept defaults without a reason
Written Clarity
- Test briefs are clear
- Learning memos help others learn
- Can explain decisions plainly
Willingness to Be Taught
- Defends thinking with logic, but changes mind when logic is better
- Not fragile under feedback
- Treats SAS-III mentorship as a growth opportunity, not approval gates
What You Don’t Need
- Principal-level platform mastery (that’s SAS-III work)
- Client-facing responsibility (that’s the AM)
- YouTube depth (we’ll teach you under SAS-III guidance)
- P&L ownership
- People-management experience
Compensation
- ?–L (Fixed + Variable, 70/30 mix)
How We Work
- Decisions are backed by structured thinking, not assumptions
- Written communication is a key part of how we operate
- Platform expertise is expected to stay current through hands-on work
- Roles are clear: SAS owns craft; AM owns commercial; Analyst owns data
