Position Title: Freelance Importer\/Exporter<\/p>\n

Type: Work from Home<\/p>\n

Work timing: Flexible<\/p>\n

Performance Based Pay:<\/p>\n

Pay will be performance based. No fixed salary would be paid. Competitive performance based pay.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Sourcing and Procurement: Identifying and establishing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, both domestically and internationally. This includes negotiating prices and terms.\n\nMarket Research: Analyzing global markets to identify opportunities for importing or exporting specific products. This involves understanding consumer demand, competition, and market trends.\n\nLogistics and Shipping: Arranging and managing the transportation of goods, including freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and delivery. This often involves working with freight forwarders and shipping companies.\n\nDocumentation and Compliance: Preparing and reviewing all necessary import\/export documentation, such as invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin. Ensuring compliance with all relevant local and international trade laws, regulations, and tariffs is paramount.\n\nClient Communication and Relationship Management: Acting as a liaison between buyers and sellers, managing communication, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the trade process.\n\nFinancial Management: Understanding and advising on payment terms, currency exchange, import duties, taxes, and potentially arranging for necessary bonds.\n\nRisk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them.<\/code><\/pre>\n
Qualifications and Skills:<\/p>\n
Education: While not always strictly required, a background in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is often beneficial.
