Job Title:<\/strong> Platform Control & Support \u2013 PCVM Team Leader<\/h3>\n

Overview of the Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader<\/strong> to join the Platform Control & Violation Management (PCVM)<\/strong> team. This role involves leading a high-performing team responsible for Investment Restriction Compliance Management<\/strong>, including violation oversight, guideline onboarding, and query resolution.<\/p>\n

You will manage key relationships with Investment Desks, Product, and Client Executives<\/strong> across all asset classes, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and maintaining a robust control environment. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a risk management mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational excellence across global teams.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Team Leadership & Oversight<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Lead and develop a global team managing investment restriction compliance<\/strong>, including violation oversight, onboarding, and query resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and inclusive<\/strong> team culture.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee daily deliverables including pre-trade violation advice<\/strong>, overnight monitoring<\/strong>, and issue escalation\/resolution<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Support mandate onboarding and guideline changes<\/strong>, ensuring proper impact assessment and control implementation on the Aladdin platform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Review team output and ensure consistent quality standards across all regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Process & Control Management<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Maintain and enhance the control framework<\/strong> for compliance management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to business controls.<\/li>\n
    • Manage source document processing<\/strong>, including identification and capture of commitments from IMAs, regulations, and internal sources.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure queries are resolved to a high standard and within agreed SLAs.<\/li>\n
    • Identify, analyse, and resolve control gaps or process inefficiencies, proposing sustainable solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Stakeholder Engagement & Projects<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Act as a key liaison with Investment Desks, Product Teams, and Client Executives<\/strong> on guideline-related matters.<\/li>\n
      • Represent the team in audits, regulatory reviews, and client meetings<\/strong>, ensuring timely and accurate responses.<\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with global coding and oversight teams<\/strong> to maintain best practices and process consistency.<\/li>\n
      • Participate or lead projects and working groups<\/strong> related to new markets, instruments, or mandates.<\/li>\n
      • Provide KPI reporting<\/strong>, identify risks, and support strategic initiatives led by the Client Mandate Lifecycle Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Training & Development<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        • Oversee team training, maintaining up-to-date procedural materials.<\/li>\n
        • Coach, mentor, and support junior and mid-level analysts.<\/li>\n

          Must-Have Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • 5\u20138+ years of experience<\/strong> in Investment Management<\/strong>, with strong exposure to Investment Restrictions Monitoring<\/strong> or Compliance Operations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple regions\/time zones.<\/li>\n
          • Solid understanding of fund structures<\/strong>, mandate lifecycle management<\/strong>, and investment guidelines<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Knowledge of key regulatory frameworks<\/strong> such as UCITS, SFDR\/SDR, MAS, and HK MPF<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Hands-on experience with Aladdin<\/strong> (or equivalent portfolio management systems).<\/li>\n
          • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint<\/strong>, and SQL<\/strong> for data analysis and reporting.<\/li>\n
          • Strong risk management<\/strong>, policy-setting<\/strong>, and control assessment<\/strong> capabilities.<\/li>\n
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/strong>, with the ability to engage and influence at senior levels.<\/li>\n
          • Strong organisational and prioritisation<\/strong> skills, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.<\/li>\n
          • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Good-to-Have Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            • Experience in process automation<\/strong>, data analytics<\/strong>, or technology-driven improvements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
