As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering a robust control environment and providing support to Investment Teams to ensure effective pre- and post-trade mandate restriction monitoring. This includes overseeing complex tasks, handling ad-hoc requests, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of daily operational activities in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Work within a team responsible for Investment Restriction Compliance Management<\/strong>\u2014violation oversight, onboarding, and query resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee daily reviews of overnight violation monitoring; escalate and track issues through to resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with Investment Desks, Product, and Client Executives<\/strong> across asset classes on investment guideline matters and pre-trade violation overrides.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain broker and \u201cready-to-trade\u201d coding in Aladdin<\/strong> and assist Trading Desks with related queries and escalations.<\/li>\n
  • Deliver and review mandate investment guideline onboarding and change activities<\/strong>, supporting control implementation on the Aladdin platform.<\/li>\n
  • Process and capture commitments sourced from IMAs, regulations, or internal teams.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure best practices and a consistent control environment.<\/li>\n
  • Respond to audit, regulator, and client queries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of responses.<\/li>\n
  • Identify process gaps, troubleshoot issues, and communicate risks while proposing effective solutions.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in projects and working groups related to new markets, instruments, or mandates<\/strong>, assessing impacts on restrictions monitoring.<\/li>\n
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring training materials and procedures remain current.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mandatory Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Strong experience in Investment Restriction Monitoring<\/strong> and compliance processes within Asset Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience with Aladdin<\/strong> (or equivalent portfolio management systems).<\/li>\n
    • Solid understanding of investment guidelines, regulatory compliance<\/strong>, and mandate restriction management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel<\/strong>; working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and SQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management<\/strong> skills, with proven ability to collaborate across teams.<\/li>\n
    • Strong attention to detail<\/strong> and accuracy in reviewing documentation and compliance checks.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n
    • Proven leadership and mentoring<\/strong> skills, with the ability to support junior colleagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Good to Have Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      • Knowledge of investment restriction regulations<\/strong> such as UCITS, SFDR, and SDR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Prior involvement in change initiatives<\/strong> or process improvement projects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Experience working with regulatory audits or client visits<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Exposure to risk assessment, policy setting, and control frameworks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with broader investment products<\/strong> and asset classes.<\/li>\n
      • Understanding of data management and automation<\/strong> opportunities in control processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
