Job Title:<\/strong> Platform Control & Support \u2013 PCT Senior Analyst<\/h3>\n

Overview of the Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As a Senior Analyst<\/strong> within the Platform Control & Support (PCT)<\/strong> team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a robust control environment and supporting investment teams in ensuring effective pre- and post-trade mandate restriction monitoring<\/strong>. You will act as a subject matter expert<\/strong>, leading the oversight and delivery of complex control activities, handling escalations, and managing ad-hoc requests.<\/p>\n

This role is suited for a professional with solid experience in Investment Management Operations<\/strong> or Compliance Monitoring<\/strong>, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accountability.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Operational Oversight<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Manage and deliver Investment Restriction Compliance Management<\/strong> processes, including control implementation, mandate onboarding, and query resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee mandate investment guideline control implementation<\/strong>, including impact assessments, control changes, and related projects.<\/li>\n
  • Review and validate coding changes performed by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.<\/li>\n
  • Support daily violation monitoring<\/strong>, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Provide pre-trade override advice<\/strong> to investment teams, ensuring appropriate documentation and control validation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Stakeholder Engagement<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Collaborate with Investment Desks, Product Teams, and Client Executives<\/strong> across all asset classes on guideline-related matters.<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with external vendors<\/strong> and global Schroders teams to promote best practices and consistency.<\/li>\n
    • Support audit, regulatory, and client queries<\/strong>, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of responses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Control & Process Management<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Assist in source document processing<\/strong>, identifying and capturing commitments from IMAs, regulatory requirements, or internal sources.<\/li>\n
      • Maintain broker and ready-to-trade coding<\/strong> in Aladdin, supporting trading desks with queries and escalations.<\/li>\n
      • Identify, analyse, and communicate control gaps, propose enhancements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the control environment.<\/li>\n
      • Keep abreast of regulatory and industry changes<\/strong>, ensuring controls remain effective and compliant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Leadership & Mentorship<\/strong><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Coach, mentor, and train junior analysts, supporting their professional development and ensuring procedures and materials remain up to date.<\/li>\n
        • Lead or contribute to projects and working groups<\/strong> focused on new markets, instruments, or mandate changes.<\/li>\n
        • Support the team in BAU activities<\/strong>, ensuring continuity and quality of service delivery.<\/li>\n
        • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Must-Have Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • 5+ years of experience<\/strong> in the Asset Management<\/strong> industry, preferably in Investment Restriction Compliance<\/strong>, Mandate Implementation<\/strong>, or Investment Operations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Strong understanding of mandate lifecycle processes<\/strong>, legal documentation<\/strong>, and investment guideline controls<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Practical knowledge of investment restrictions regulations<\/strong>, such as UCITS<\/strong>, SFDR\/SDR<\/strong>, or other regional equivalents.<\/li>\n
          • Hands-on experience with Aladdin<\/strong> or similar portfolio compliance\/monitoring systems.<\/li>\n
          • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel<\/strong> and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint<\/strong>, and SQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          • Proven risk management<\/strong> and control assessment<\/strong> skills.<\/li>\n
          • Excellent communication and stakeholder management<\/strong> capabilities.<\/li>\n
          • Strong analytical and problem-solving<\/strong> mindset with meticulous attention to detail.<\/li>\n
          • Ability to manage multiple priorities<\/strong> and deliver within tight deadlines.<\/li>\n
          • Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching<\/strong> junior colleagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
