Group\/Division<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on us to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, our Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of our metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeam\u2019s mission encapsulates its role as the \u201ceyes\u201d of our product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside our patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Description\/Preferred<\/span> Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will be part of a <\/span>Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing group<\/span><\/strong> that develops algorithms and software solutions that enhance the performance of our inspection tools.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your responsibilities will include:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Technical Skills<\/strong>:\n
      \n
    • Proficiency in conventional image processing techniques<\/strong>, including:\n
        \n
      • Filtering (Gaussian, Median, etc.)<\/li>\n
      • Edge detection (Sobel, Canny)<\/li>\n
      • Thresholding, morphological operations, and histogram analysis<\/li>\n
      • Fourier Transforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with classical computer vision methods<\/strong>, such as:\n
          \n
        • Feature extraction (SIFT, SURF, ORB)<\/li>\n
        • Object detection using Haar cascades or contour analysis<\/li>\n
        • Image registration, geometric transformations, and camera calibration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Hands-on experience with tools like OpenCV<\/strong>, scikit-image<\/strong>, or MATLAB<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Expertise in C\/C++, Linux Development.<\/li>\n
        • Good debugging skills in using gdb and Linux system utilities to troubleshoot timing sensitive distributed applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Analytical Abilities<\/strong>:\n

            • Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, calculus and statistics.<\/li>\n
            • Ability to analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot visual data effectively.<\/li>\n
