We are seeking an experienced and skilled\u00a0SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)<\/strong>\u00a0to join our dynamic engineering team. This role requires a unique blend of software development and testing expertise to design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous testing practices.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Test Automation & Framework Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable\u00a0automation frameworks<\/strong>\u00a0for web, API, and mobile applications using industry best practices<\/li>\n
  2. Create and implement comprehensive\u00a0API automation<\/strong>\u00a0solutions using\u00a0REST Assured<\/strong>\u00a0and other relevant tools<\/li>\n
  3. Build reusable test components following design patterns such as Page Object Model, Factory, and Singleton patterns<\/li>\n
  4. Develop\u00a0CI\/CD pipeline integrations<\/strong>\u00a0using\u00a0Jenkins<\/strong>, GitHub Actions, and other automation tools to enable continuous testing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Daily Testing Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Create new automation scripts<\/strong>\u00a0for newly developed features and functionalities<\/li>\n
    2. Maintain existing automation codebase<\/strong>\u00a0including debugging, enhancing, and optimizing test scripts<\/li>\n
    3. Perform\u00a0bug verification<\/strong>\u00a0and regression testing to ensure software quality<\/li>\n
    4. Maintain test cases in TestRail<\/strong>\u00a0including test case creation, execution tracking, and result documentation<\/li>\n
    5. Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Collaboration & Quality Assurance<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Partner with development teams to implement shift-left testing practices and improve overall code quality<\/li>\n
      2. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning meetings<\/li>\n
      3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test strategies<\/li>\n
      4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Java<\/strong>\u00a0– Strong proficiency in Java programming with object-oriented programming concepts<\/li>\n
        2. Basic Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)<\/strong>\u00a0– Understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures for efficient test automation<\/li>\n
        3. REST Assured<\/strong>\u00a0– Hands-on experience in API automation testing using REST Assured framework<\/li>\n
        4. API Automation<\/strong>\u00a0– Expertise in automated testing of RESTful web services, including request\/response validation<\/li>\n
        5. Automation Framework Design<\/strong>\u00a0– Experience designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks using design patterns<\/li>\n
        6. CI\/CD Pipeline Integration<\/strong>\u00a0– Proficiency with Jenkins and CI\/CD pipeline setup for automated testing<\/li>\n
        7. Git Version Control<\/strong>\u00a0– Strong knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices<\/li>\n
        8. Fast Learning Ability<\/strong>\u00a0– Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          4. Batch Files & Makefiles<\/strong>\u00a0– System automation and build process knowledge<\/li>\n
          5. GitHub Actions<\/strong>\u00a0– Advanced CI\/CD pipeline automation using GitHub’s native solution<\/li>\n
          6. Windows LDAP & Certificates<\/strong>\u00a0– Enterprise authentication and security integration experience<\/li>\n
          7. Spring Framework<\/strong>\u00a0– Basic exposure to Spring framework integration in test automation contexts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Essential Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Bachelor’s degree<\/strong>\u00a0in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field<\/li>\n
            2. 5+ years<\/strong>\u00a0of experience in software testing and automation<\/li>\n
            3. Strong understanding of\u00a0Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)<\/strong>\u00a0and testing methodologies<\/li>\n
            4. Experience with\u00a0Agile\/Scrum<\/strong>\u00a0development methodologies<\/li>\n
            5. Excellent\u00a0problem-solving skills<\/strong>\u00a0and attention to detail<\/li>\n
            6. Strong\u00a0communication skills<\/strong>\u00a0for cross-team collaboration<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Tools & Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n

              1. Testing Tools<\/strong>: REST Assured, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit<\/li>\n
