  1. Demonstrable experience of delivering Database operation teams\/projects, with specific knowledge of service transition and supportability of solution in a Production environment of Oracle DB and MySQL, SQL Server administration understanding<\/li>\n
  2. Demonstrable experience managing technical teams<\/li>\n
  3. Understanding of Operational Acceptance, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability (HA) in a Production environment.<\/li>\n
  4. Understanding of Change Management, Incident Management and Release and Configuration management processes.<\/li>\n
  5. Infrastructure services delivery using offshore\/onshore capabilities; an understanding of the complexities of working with teams.<\/li>\n
  6. Ensures availability, security, and integrity of assigned databases.<\/li>\n
  7. Resolves database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data issues.<\/li>\n
  8. Install, patch and maintain all Oracle software. Installs and configures database management software (DBMS) including RAC and Data Guard and applicable service packs and\/or patches.<\/li>\n
  9. Develops and implements database maintenance plans, including performing integrity checks, updating statistics and monitoring security and hardware resource utilization.<\/li>\n
  10. Advanced knowledge of Oracle RAC<\/li>\n
  11. Participates in data modeling and database logical and physical design.<\/li>\n
  12. Analyzes long-term database performance trends to optimize database and application performance.<\/li>\n
  13. Configures database server to work with middleware, web servers and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools.<\/li>\n
  14. Design and implement a backup & recovery system and have extensive hands-on experience on various RMAN Backup and Recovery Scenarios.<\/li>\n
  15. Expert in provisioning and decommission of database including Instance\/RAC\/ASM\/grid control\/data guard<\/li>\n
  16. Gathers and shares business requirements for their towers with the teams and ensures effective and efficient solutions are developed and implemented<\/li>\n
  17. Problem solving and Decision Making – Resolve unusual or highly complex problems, with the involvement of others as required. Able to identify solutions and explore alternatives outside familiar approaches<\/li>\n
