Role: Professional Services Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Meet with customer business leaders and engineering teams.<\/li>\n
  2. Assess customer cryptography profile through the Threat Point system and other tools.<\/li>\n
  3. Find and document gaps in the Threat Point discovery and remediation systems, and suggest improvements.<\/li>\n
  4. Assist customer engineers with encryption migration tasks and code updates with the help of the latest LLM agentic flows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Must Have Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Background in implementing cryptography, such as symmetric, asymmetric, hashing, password encryption, KDF, MAC, encryption modes, and transport layers.<\/li>\n
    2. Proficiency with systems engineering and modern software development practices.<\/li>\n
    3. Able to quickly gain trust with diverse engineering teams and work well with many personalities.<\/li>\n
    4. Production coding experience in various interpreted and compiled languages.<\/li>\n
    5. When hiring multiple people for this role, let\u2019s try and get as wide a spectrum of coding language experience so we\u2019re not only relying on LLMs for coding.<\/li>\n
    6. Experience with complex data migrations involving multiple systems that might need to be updated together, drafting action plans, understanding and documenting risks, and making sure all the right people are involved for a successful migration.<\/li>\n
    7. Clear communicator who can explain cryptographic reasoning to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.<\/li>\n
    8. Highly organized and self-directed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Nice to Have Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Familiarity with quantum-resistant and post-quantum cryptography concepts.<\/li>\n
      2. This can be taught.<\/li>\n
      3. Experience with competing repository scanning and remediation applications.<\/li>\n
      4. Experience with LLM and agentic software engineering flows.<\/li>\n
      5. Other broad and\/or deep cybersecurity skills that can be applied when working with customers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
