Lead the Design and Application of Auxiliary Power business ( 5kVA to 2500kVA) by releasing the product as per Schedule. (Low range <200KVA, Medium Range 200<KVA<1000, Megaseries >1000KVA<\/p>\n

Develop Product expansion range by means of Designing, Selecting, Branding, or technology tie up.<\/p>\n

Cater Domestic and Export (Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe) Market requirements<\/p>\n

Lead the cross functional team and provide technical support to other functional areas.<\/p>\n

Collaborative working with, Marketing, Applications, & Product Line Management for Product release of custom sales order within agreed timeline<\/p>\n

Develop technical requirements and quality standards for Products (DG set)<\/p>\n

Following up with all cross functional and lead team for completion of tasks on time<\/p>\n

Convert DG set technicalities, Application understanding and electrical integration in to technical requirements.<\/p>\n

Sound knowledge of Design, testing, Validation, DG selection, Switch gears, Engine and DG Standards, and Zero based costing.<\/p>\n

Has sound knowledge of different electrical panels like Synchronising panel, MCC, AMF panels<\/p>\n

Capable to drive different training session to enhance team capability.<\/p>\n

Sound knowledge on Homologations, Compliances and network with Govt\/Certifying agencies for domestic and export requirements.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Drive Design of Enclosure, Silencer, Base , Cooling System for Gesnset and lead team.<\/p>\n

Has to control cost to maximise the margins.<\/p>\n

Support complete sales team for customised products for timely release of BOM and Specification<\/p>\n

Highlight key issue during BOM preparation and timely escalation for resolution.<\/p>\n

Responsive to regular reviews of SOF requirement and approvals for scope of supplies.<\/p>\n

Coordination with cross functional team for closer of FTR \/ New product readiness<\/p>\n

Participate in engineering change request discussion and update sharing with sales team<\/p>\n

Coordination with sales team for technical document release.<\/p>\n

Review of electrical schemes for integration of DG set with other panels.<\/p>\n

Able to work on multiple projects on same time with fixed deliverables.<\/p>\n

Encourage best in class and Innovative solutions as per requirements.<\/p>\n

Skills required:<\/p>\n

B.E Mechanical\/Electrical engineer<\/p>\n

Minimum experience \u2013 15 to 18 years<\/p>\n

Deep Knowledge about Product design, jobs specific to DG sets.<\/p>\n

Basic knowledge of Engine mounting and integration in DG set.<\/p>\n

Use expertise in engineering \/ design \/ reciprocating engines \/ Gensets to help resolve urgent issues with current products.<\/p>\n

Demonstrated proficiency utilizing mechanical engineering skills to analyse technical requirements.<\/p>\n

Ability to apply appropriate skill set to design and packaging of complex components within Pro- E<\/p>\n

Preferred to have knowledge of process (Casting, forgings, fabrications, sheet metal components, piping,) electrical schematics. Mechanical Design,<\/p>\n

Proficiency in managing technical and organizational assignments.<\/p>\n
