JOB DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n

Role: Finance Director (Strategic Projects & CFO Office)<\/p>\n

Location: – Manila, Philippines Reporting To: Group Chief Financial Officer (UAE)<\/p>\n

Travel: Frequent international travel (UAE HQ & Global Offices)<\/p>\n

The Role: Architect Our Future Before You Lead It<\/p>\n

This is not a traditional “mind the shop” Finance Director role. It is a strategic launchpad for a<\/p>\n

future C-Suite leader.<\/p>\n

Our Group is a Private Equity-backed, high-growth global leader in Primary Source<\/p>\n

Verification (PSV). We are growing fast, processing significant transaction volumes with the<\/p>\n

overarching goal to enable trusted global migration.<\/p>\n

We are looking for a Finance Director to join the “CFO Office” as a high-impact individual<\/p>\n

contributor. You will initially focus on critical transformation projects\u2014specifically our ERP<\/p>\n

maturation, system-driven reporting development, and integrations\u2014while acting as the<\/p>\n

strategic right hand to the CFO.<\/p>\n

The Trajectory: You will start by leading projects, not people. Once you have optimized our<\/p>\n

systems and demonstrated strategic value, the intent is for this role to evolve into overseeing<\/p>\n

the wider finance function.<\/p>\n

Key Missions (The First 12-18 Months)<\/p>\n

  1. The ERP Transformation & Systems Integration\n

    We have recently migrated to the cloud. Your immediate mandate is to drive this from<\/p>\n

    “implemented” to “optimized.”<\/p>\n

    ? Defining “Optimized”: To us, “optimized” means achieving Zero-Touch Automation for<\/p>\n

    standard transactions and eliminating manual spreadsheet interventions. It means<\/p>\n

    transitioning from static monthly reporting to dynamic, system-generated dashboards<\/p>\n

    that provide real-time visibility. You will build a system that serves the business logic,<\/p>\n

    rather than constraining it.<\/p>\n

    ? Banking & Tech Integration: Lead the integration of our ERP with our global banking<\/p>\n

    partners and internal proprietary software. We need automated, seamless data flow, not<\/p>\n

    manual workarounds.<\/p>\n

    ? Scalability: We are a high-volume transaction business. You must ensure our systems<\/p>\n

    can handle double our current volume without breaking.<\/p>\n

    ? Data Architecture: Work with IT and Finance to ensure the ERP structure supports<\/p>\n

    granular, real-time reporting for a Private Equity environment.<\/li>\n

  2. Strategic “CFO Office” Projects\n

    You will operate as an extension of the CFO, handling high-stakes initiatives that fall outside<\/p>\n

    the day-to-day general ledger \/ FP&A scope:<\/p>\n

    ? M&A & Expansion: Assist in financial due diligence for acquisitions and modeling for<\/p>\n

    new market entries.<\/p>\n

    ? Beyond Finance: Gain exposure to Legal, Contracts, and Compliance. You will review and<\/p>\n

    assist the CFO in managing legal and compliance risks\u2014learning to protect the business,<\/p>\n

    not just oversee the financials.<\/p>\n

    ? Commercial Modeling: Partner with business heads to model pricing and product<\/p>\n

    strategies for new products in a dynamic, fast-paced market.<\/li>\n

  3. Future Operational Leadership\n

    ? While you won’t immediately manage the large finance team (which is currently led by our<\/p>\n

    Group Financial Controller and Head of FP&A), you must build the credibility to eventually<\/p>\n

    be prepared to lead them.<\/p>\n

    ? You will act as a mentor and “force multiplier” for the existing leadership, helping them<\/p>\n

    upgrade processes to match our significant growth rate.<\/p>\n

    The Candidate Profile<\/p>\n

    The Must-Haves:<\/p>\n

    ? Integrations: You have led or played a key role in an ERP optimization or complex<\/p>\n

    systems integration project (e.g., connecting billing systems to GL).<\/p>\n

    ? High-Volume DNA: You come from a sector with high transaction counts (e.g., B2C Tech,<\/p>\n

    Logistics, Fintech, Telecoms, etc). You understand that in a high-volume business, a<\/p>\n

    “small” process error may create a significant downstream issue.<\/p>\n

    ? Operational Ownership & Earned Progression: You understand that the “CFO Path” is<\/p>\n

    a privilege earned through delivery, not a promise. You are ready to roll up your sleeves,<\/p>\n

    dig into the data, and do the heavy lifting required to build trust. We are looking for a<\/p>\n

    builder who takes ownership, not just an overseer.<\/p>\n

    ? Your craft has been ensuring growth for an organisation through FP& A skills and craft.<\/p>\n

    ? Private Equity \/ High-Growth Pace: You are comfortable in a dynamic environment<\/p>\n

    where the goalposts move fast. You don’t need a handbook; you write the handbook.<\/p>\n

    ? Qualified: CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA Finance with a solid accounting foundation.<\/p>\n

    The “Future CFO” Traits:<\/p>\n

    ? Tech-Fluent: You can speak “API” and “Database” as fluently as you speak “EBITDA” and<\/p>\n

    “Cash Flow”.<\/p>\n

    ? Broad Aperture: You are interested in the commercial and operational engines of the<\/p>\n

    business\u2014how we sell, how we deliver, and how we scale\u2014not just the finance<\/p>\n

    department.<\/p>\n

    ? Executive Presence: You can represent the CFO in meetings with senior stakeholders<\/p>\n

    and external partners.<\/p>\n
