Job role-<\/strong>\u00a0Application Operations Engineer -(L2\/L3, DevOps Support, DB, Application Server) – infra<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Implementing, configuring custom changes, and deploying new Application release upgrades<\/li>\n
  2. Setup new environments & deploying solutions.<\/li>\n
  3. Building proactive Monitoring & alerting service.<\/li>\n
  4. Automation using ansible, python, Perl scripting.<\/li>\n
  5. Setup & securing new Application instances<\/li>\n
  6. Change management, Building deployment and rollback plans and procedures<\/li>\n
  7. Creating and maintaining knowledge base for various technical resolutions<\/li>\n
  8. Create and setup deployment scripts for different environments (i.e. Test properties vs Prod properties)<\/li>\n
  9. Configure and optimize instances and web servers for optimal performance. (ex: adjusting default connection limits, adjusting request queuing thresholds)<\/li>\n
  10. AWS troubleshooting support<\/li>\n
  11. Support, Architect and Implement alongside Technical & Operations teams to meet our customers’ individual needs for their infrastructure & application deployments.<\/li>\n
  12. Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple AWS services (dealing daily with high severity incidents).<\/li>\n
  13. Help build and improve customer operations through scripts to automate and deploy AWS resources seamlessly with as little manual intervention as possible.<\/li>\n
  14. Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow Engineers to operate safely at high speed \/ wide scale.<\/li>\n
  15. Drive customer communication during critical events.<\/li>\n
  16. Provide on-call off hour support and flexible to work in 24*7 shift environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Required Skill<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Excellent hands-on experience in managing Application Support (3 tier\/2 tier apps)<\/li>\n
    2. Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills<\/li>\n
    3. Exposure to APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace<\/li>\n
    4. Excellent skills on managing containerized \/ cloud-based application with exposure to various cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, VPC, VPN).<\/li>\n
    5. Good experience in a DevOps environment \/ Operations team \/ Infrastructure Operations team.<\/li>\n
    6. Excellent Troubleshooting skills<\/li>\n
    7. OS level knowledge (Windows or Linux)<\/li>\n
    8. Database skills (SQL, Oracle or Postgres \/ Casandra)<\/li>\n
    9. Application Server (skills on any of Middleware technologies e.g. – Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere)<\/li>\n
    10. Ability to identify the underlying root cause of performance issues & mitigate bottlenecks<\/li>\n
    11. Good understanding on Networking, Load balancers<\/li>\n
    12. Good communication both written and verbal<\/li>\n
    13. Exposure to scripting language (Ansible, Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell script, Powershell etc.)<\/li>\n
    14. Experience in working with tools like OpsGenie, Nagios, Rundeck,<\/li>\n
    15. Good understanding in Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
