Role Overview<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The VP \/ Head of Technology will lead our technology function across engineering, product development, cloud infrastructure, security, and AI-led initiatives. This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-quality technology solutions across our core verticals including <\/span>eCommerce, Procurement & e-Sourcing, ERP integrations, Sustainability\/ESG, and Business Services<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This leader will drive execution, ensure technical excellence, modernize platforms, and collaborate closely with business and delivery teams<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Technology Execution & Architecture Leadership<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Own and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain scalable architecture supporting multiple verticals.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Enforce engineering best practices, code quality, performance, and security.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead platform modernization including microservices, cloud-native architecture, API-first systems, and integration frameworks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Product & Engineering Delivery<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Manage multi-product engineering teams across eCommerce platforms, procurement systems, ERP integrations, analytics, and ESG solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Own the full SDLC \u2014 requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Implement Agile, DevOps, CI\/CD for faster releases and improved reliability.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Oversee product\/platform interoperability across all our systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Vertical-Specific Technology Leadership<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

      Procurement Tech:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Lead architecture and enhancements of procurement and indirect spend platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ensure interoperability with SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        eCommerce:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Drive development of scalable B2B\/B2C commerce platforms, headless commerce, marketplace integrations, and personalization capabilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Sustainability\/ESG:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Support development of GHG tracking, reporting systems, and sustainability analytics platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Business Services:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Enhance operational platforms with automation, workflow management, dashboards, and AI-driven efficiency tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Data, Cloud, Security & Infrastructure<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Own cloud infrastructure strategy (Azure\/AWS\/GCP).<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Ensure adherence to compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR).<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Lead cybersecurity policies, monitoring, threat detection, and recovery planning.<\/span><\/li>\n
              • Drive observability, cost optimization, and system scalability.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                AI, Automation & Innovation<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
                  \n
                • Integrate AI\/ML, analytics, and automation into product platforms and service delivery.<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Build frameworks for workflow automation, supplier analytics, personalization, and operational efficiency.<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Lead R&D for emerging tech aligned to business needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Leadership & Team Management<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
                    \n
                  • Lead and mentor engineering managers, architects, developers, QA, and DevOps.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous learning, and performance accountability.<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • Build capability development frameworks and internal talent pipelines.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Stakeholder Collaboration<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
                      \n
                    • Partner with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Business Teams to align technology outcomes with customer needs.<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • Ensure transparent reporting on project status, risks, and technology KPIs.<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • Manage vendor relationships, technology partnerships, and external consultants.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Education, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements<\/span>:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Experience & Background<\/span><\/h4>\n
                        \n
                      • 16+ years in technology execution roles, including 5\u20137 years in senior leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n
                      • Strong background in multi-product engineering for B2B platforms or enterprise systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
                      • Proven delivery experience across: eCommerce, ERP integrations, procurement platforms, ESG solutions, and automation<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        Technical Skills<\/span><\/h4>\n
                          \n
                        • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure\/AWS\/GCP), microservices architecture, API frameworks.<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Strong grasp of procurement tech, ERP integrations, eCommerce platforms, and enterprise-scale systems.<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Hands-on exposure to AI\/ML, automation tools, data engineering, and analytics stacks.<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Strong understanding of security, compliance, scalability, performance engineering<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                            Education<\/span><\/h4>\n

                            • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s in Computer Science\/Engineering or equivalent.<\/span><\/li>\n
                            • Additional leadership education (MBA or similar) is a plus, not mandatory<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
