Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing procurement activities for solar EPC projects.<\/p>\n

The role includes vendor sourcing, price negotiation, purchase planning, order management, logistics coordination, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials as per project requirements and budgets.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Procurement Management<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Manage end-to-end procurement activities for solar EPC projects.<\/li>\n
  2. Plan and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.<\/li>\n
  3. Handle procurement of solar materials including modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, BOS items, and other project-related materials.<\/li>\n
  4. Prepare and manage PRs, RFQs, POs, and purchase contracts as per company policy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Vendor Management<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers.<\/li>\n
    2. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contracts.<\/li>\n
    3. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and quality.<\/li>\n
    4. Monitor vendor performance and implement improvement measures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Planning & Coordination<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, and Finance teams for accurate material planning.<\/li>\n
      2. Ensure material availability in line with project schedules and site requirements.<\/li>\n
      3. Provide procurement inputs during project costing and tendering stages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Logistics & Inventory Coordination<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Coordinate logistics, transportation, and timely delivery of materials to project sites.<\/li>\n
        2. Track inventory levels and support warehouse management.<\/li>\n
        3. Monitor material consumption and maintain stock records.<\/li>\n
        4. Implement cost control and inventory optimization practices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Compliance & Documentation<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and industry standards.<\/li>\n
          2. Maintain proper documentation for procurement transactions and ERP entries.<\/li>\n
          3. Ensure compliance with GST, statutory, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.<\/li>\n
          4. Prepare MIS reports and support internal audits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Team Coordination<\/p>\n

            1. Supervise and support procurement team members.<\/li>\n
            2. Monitor procurement activities and ensure smooth execution of purchase processes.<\/li>\n
            3. Implement efficient procurement processes and SOPs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.<\/li>\n
              2. 5-8 years of experience in Procurement \/ Purchase in Solar or Renewable Energy (preferred).<\/li>\n
              3. Strong knowledge of solar EPC materials and procurement processes.<\/li>\n
              4. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.<\/li>\n
              5. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.<\/li>\n
              6. Ability to handle multiple vendors and procurement activities simultaneously.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Preferred Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

                1. Knowledge of GST, logistics, and import\/export procedures.<\/li>\n
