Job Title: Project Manager \u2013 Custom Millwork<\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/p>\n

The Project Manager leads the execution of high-end, custom residential millwork projects from contract award through final installation. This role manages complex, detail-driven work for luxury homes, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, seamless coordination, and an elevated client experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical millwork knowledge with polished client-facing skills and the ability to manage multiple bespoke projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Project Leadership & Execution<\/p>\n

Manage luxury residential millwork projects from kickoff through close-out<\/p>\n

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans<\/p>\n

Coordinate all phases including design development, engineering, fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installation<\/p>\n

Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain schedule, quality, and budget<\/p>\n

Client, Designer & Architect Coordination<\/p>\n

Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders<\/p>\n

Lead project meetings and provide clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle<\/p>\n

Manage scope changes, upgrades, and change orders with discretion and transparency<\/p>\n

Deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with luxury residential expectations<\/p>\n

Technical & Production Oversight<\/p>\n

Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material selections for accuracy and intent<\/p>\n

Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and execution of complex details<\/p>\n

Resolve technical challenges related to custom joinery, specialty finishes, and high-end hardware<\/p>\n

Coordinate field measurements and site conditions critical to residential installations<\/p>\n

Budget & Schedule Control<\/p>\n

Track project costs, labor, and material expenditures<\/p>\n

Ensure profitability while maintaining uncompromising quality<\/p>\n

Manage billing schedules, deposits, and milestone invoicing<\/p>\n

Communicate schedule impacts clearly and proactively<\/p>\n

Quality & Installation Management<\/p>\n

Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finish<\/p>\n

Conduct quality reviews throughout fabrication and prior to installation<\/p>\n

Coordinate installation sequencing with builders and other trades<\/p>\n

Oversee punch list completion and final client acceptance<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications<\/p>\n

5+ years of project management experience in high-end residential millwork or custom cabinetry<\/p>\n

Deep understanding of luxury residential construction, millwork materials, and finishes<\/p>\n

Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings<\/p>\n

Proven experience managing complex, one-of-a-kind residential projects<\/p>\n

Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills<\/p>\n

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability<\/p>\n

Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field<\/p>\n

Experience working directly with luxury homeowners and high-profile designers<\/p>\n

Knowledge of CNC fabrication, millwork engineering, and custom hardware systems<\/p>\n

Familiarity with production tracking or ERP systems<\/p>\n

Work Environment<\/p>\n

Office, manufacturing facility, and high-end residential job sites<\/p>\n

Regular coordination with designers, craftsmen, and installation teams<\/p>\n

National travel to job sites as required<\/p>\n
