Job Summary:<\/p>\n

Coordinates activities of workers engaged in production machining of metallic or nonmetallic work pieces,<\/p>\n

applying knowledge of machine shop procedures, machine tool setup and operating techniques, and<\/p>\n

production machining methods.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure the of work quality which would be performed by the machinists and make them aware what they<\/p>\n

did right or wrong.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure housekeeping level & spare availability on shop floor.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Training of machinists related to operating techniques, Job Safety Analysis, Lockout\/Tagout, etc.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Execute of up gradation project of the equipment for de-bottle necking the process.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Implementation of SAP\u2022 Implement OSHA standards in work culture to achieve zero recordable injury.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Report planned job status to maintenance supervisor.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure the machine drawings, spare, tools, & PPE are available on the shop floor.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Formulate and coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and<\/p>\n

associated documents.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Coordination with production supervisor to maintain the condition of pipe manufacturing equipment.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Plan the breakdown, preventive and shutdown job execution.<\/p>\n

Education and\/or Experience:<\/p>\n

Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. With two- four years hands<\/p>\n

on experience and\/or equivalent combination of education and experience. or<\/p>\n

Technical millwright certificate with 15-20 years Hands on experience with similar equipment.<\/p>\n

Language Skills:<\/p>\n

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical<\/p>\n

procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure<\/p>\n

manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,<\/p>\n

clients, customers, and the general public.<\/p>\n

Mathematical Skills:<\/p>\n

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of<\/p>\n

plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,<\/p>\n

and proportions to practical situations.<\/p>\n
