The role owns problem quality, reproducible environments, and coordination with AI researchers, and requires strong EE domain depth plus hands-on Python, Docker, and basic cloud skills to review and support the pod end-to-end.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Team Leadership<\/span><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Lead and manage a pod of 4\u20138 Engineering Design Specialists by assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, removing blockers, and mentoring on problem design, simulation rigor, and documentation.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">\u00a0Act as the main point of contact with AI research teams to translate model feedback into refinements, while running regular syncs, tracking progress, and reporting updates and risks to program leads.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Technical Oversight<\/span><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Oversee and approve pod outputs, maintain reproducible Docker-based simulation environments, support cloud infrastructure for simulation\/grading,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Develop and review Python automation\/validation, and proactively resolve dependency, versioning, and reproducibility issues.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Problem Design (Individual Contribution)<\/span><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Personally design a portfolio of high-difficulty electrical engineering problems in your chosen subdomain.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Set the quality bar and design philosophy for the pod through your own example submissions.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Electrical Engineering Subdomains:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">You must have deep expertise in at least one of the following, with working familiarity across others being a strong plus:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Analog \/ Mixed-Signal IC Design \u2014 op-amp topologies, ADC\/DAC design, noise analysis, layout-aware design, SPICE-level simulation.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Power Electronics \u2014 DC-DC converters, inverter design, magnetics sizing, thermal management, efficiency optimization.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">RF \/ Microwave Engineering \u2014 filter design, impedance matching, S-parameter analysis, transmission line and antenna design.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Digital Systems \/ FPGA \/ ASIC \u2014 RTL design, timing closure, synthesis-aware design, hardware-software co-design.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Embedded Systems \u2014 microcontroller\/DSP-based design, real-time constraints, peripheral interfacing, power budgeting.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Required Qualification:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Master&#8217;s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">At least 5 years of hands-on electrical engineering design experience, with a track record of owning designs from specification through validated implementation.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">At least 1\u20132 years of experience in a technical lead, senior engineer, or team coordination role.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Proficiency with Python for scripting, automation, and simulation workflows.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Hands-on experience with Docker: building images, writing Dockerfiles, managing containerized environments.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) \u2014 comfortable running workloads, managing storage, and monitoring jobs.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Proficiency with at least one open-source EE simulation tool (e.g., ngspice, PySpice, Qucs, OpenEMS, scikit-rf, or similar).<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Nice to Have<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience designing engineering coursework, exam problems, or design challenges at graduate level.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Familiarity with CI\/CD pipelines or automated testing frameworks.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Exposure to LLM evaluation, AI benchmarking, or training data curation.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Cross-domain familiarity with Control Systems, Embedded\/Robotics, or Power
