This role is a launchpad into senior VDC leadership, providing direct exposure to US general contractors.<\/p>\n<p>If you are ready to move beyond modelling and step into project engineering, this is your opportunity to grow while shaping real-world projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the administrative and technical management of GDC projects. The Senior Project Manager acts as the primary bridge between the executive leadership, the client, and the field operations. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Supervise all activities related to project management, change orders, submittals, and other project engineering tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Directly supervise and train all team members assigned to project engineering vertically across different tiers.<\/p>\n<p>Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity.<\/p>\n<p>Train and develop direct reports utilizing the job and internal and external training or development opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit weekly job status reports.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain thorough quality assurance \/ control standards &amp; protocols across the company and individual projects.<\/p>\n<p>Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project. Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence.<\/p>\n<p>Be the primary point of contact for initial estimating efforts of new projects in terms of hours &amp; resources required for successful projects\u2019 execution.<\/p>\n<p>Lead product development efforts for GDC team and supervise team members involved in the phased developments of these products.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at both GDC &amp; US entities.<\/p>\n<p>Lead coordination &amp; communication with the GDC project managers during the daily project update meetings or as when required.<\/p>\n<p>Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the services offered by GDC &amp; all parties involved and use it for effective project delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Basic Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Undergraduate degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field or relevant experience.
