{"id":5855,"date":"2026-04-04T03:53:54","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T03:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=5855"},"modified":"2026-05-05T00:18:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T00:18:07","slug":"director-benefits-14792","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5855","title":{"rendered":"Director, Benefits 14792"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"flex-shrink-0\">Positions:<span class=\"font-semibold\">1 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"flex-shrink-0 font-semibold\">Full Time<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"font-inter-regular-paragraph2 text-cbrex-light-neutral-800 capitalize grid grid-cols-3 gap-x-1\">\n<div class=\"col-span-1\">Experience<\/div>\n<div class=\"font-inter-semibold-paragraph2  text-cbrex-light-surface-pb col-span-2\">10 &#8211; 15 Years<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"font-inter-regular-paragraph2 text-cbrex-light-neutral-800 capitalize grid grid-cols-3 gap-x-1\">\n<div class=\"col-span-1\">Compensation Details<\/div>\n<div class=\"font-inter-semibold-paragraph2  text-cbrex-light-surface-pb col-span-2\">20 &#8211; 30% Bonus<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">This position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration and communication of the benefit programs and the supervision of consulting firms, brokers, and trustees.\u00a0 Ensures all benefit programs are compliant with IRS and ERISA regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Minimum Qualifications<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Education: Bachelors degree in Business, HR Management or related discipline; Masters degree preferred<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Licenses\/Certifications: Certification in HR-related area preferred, e.g. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience \/ Knowledge \/ Skills:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">10 years experience managing benefits operations encompassing the implementation of benefit programs, administration and compliance of qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans and wellness initiatives in a complex integrated healthcare system or multi-divisional company<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Prior experience with HRIS database required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Proven management skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals capable of achieving aggressive business goals and objectives<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with plan design\/evaluation\/ compliance\/implementation for health and welfare, pension, 403(b), 401(k), non-qualified, life and AD&amp;D insurance, short term disability and voluntary benefits plans<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and health care reform law<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Wellness plan development and implementation experience desirable<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to determine when escalation of issues is required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Critical thinking and problem resolution skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Demonstrated strong computer skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Principal Accountabilities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Designs, develops and administers \u201cbest practices\u201d benefit programs to attract and retain high-performing people talent while effectively managing costs, service, external resources, vendors and legal compliance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Partners with Director of Compensation, Manager of HRIS and VP, Compensation, Benefits &amp; HRIS to design and execute a cohesive Total Rewards program in alignment with MH business strategies. Directs and is ultimately responsible for the team of Benefits staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Maintains relationships and cultivates new relationships with external consultants, actuaries and outsourcing service partners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Assures all company-sponsored plans, including their design and changes thereto, are in compliance with all relevant legal requirements and government regulations related to benefits administration (e.g. PPA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, DOL, IRS) and ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Evaluates and implements effective and accurate process as necessary to maintain efficiency of benefit delivery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Works collaboratively with ISD and HRIS to design and develop system enhancements and new applications to deliver automated Benefits information and enrollment tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Act as the liaison and primary resource for the Human Resource Service Center for escalated issues and process enhancements and improvements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Ensures effective and accurate benefit communications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Develops metrics to measure the ROI of benefit programs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_job_location":"Houston, Texas, USA","_application":"hrm@cephasconsult.biz","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-5855","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-expired","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/5855","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5855"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cephasconsult.biz\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=5855"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
