a highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and deliver real-time software for autonomous systems operating in constrained, mission-critical environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software in C++<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Architect and implement modular, scalable software systems for autonomous platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Develop navigation, guidance, and control (NGC) and autonomy-related components<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Integrate AI\/ML-driven capabilities into embedded or edge environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Work across the stack:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Hardware interfaces (drivers, BSP interaction)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Middleware (e.g., RTOS, messaging frameworks)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Application-level autonomy logic<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test teams to deliver end-to-end functionality<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Drive software architecture decisions, including:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Interfaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Data flow<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Timing and resource constraints<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Support debugging and performance tuning in real-time environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Contribute to process improvements (Agile\/sprint execution, CI\/CD for embedded)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Required Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">8+ years of experience in embedded software development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Strong proficiency in C++ (modern C++ preferred)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, RTEMS, embedded Linux)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Solid understanding of:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Multithreading, synchronization, and concurrency<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Memory management in constrained systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Deterministic timing and real-time constraints<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with software architecture and system design<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Familiarity with embedded debugging tools (JTAG, trace, low-level diagnostics)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience integrating software with custom hardware or SoCs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with autonomous navigation systems (marine, aerospace, robotics, or ground systems)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span Flight System (cFS)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Exposure to AI\/ML concepts, including:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Edge inference<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Sensor fusion<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Perception or decision-making systems<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Experience with guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-raw-html=\"span\">Knowledge of communications protocols (UDP\/TCP, CAN, serial,
