Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

SCM Manager will be responsible for leading, strategizing, and optimizing the complete supply chain function for large-scale solar EPC projects. This role demands strong expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement planning, vendor development, cost optimization, and team leadership to ensure seamless project execution, profitability, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Drive end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for multiple solar EPC projects.<\/li>\n
  • Develop long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business growth, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.<\/li>\n
  • Lead decision-making for high-value procurement and vendor selection.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure continuous improvement of SCM processes, SOPs, and systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Procurement & Cost Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Lead procurement of key solar components: modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS, etc.<\/li>\n
    • Optimize total procurement cost through strategic negotiations, bulk purchasing, and alternative sourcing.<\/li>\n
    • Approve and oversee PRs, RFQs, POs, contracts, and commercial evaluations.<\/li>\n
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Vendor & Contract Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Develop and manage a strong vendor ecosystem across domestic and international suppliers.<\/li>\n
      • Lead high-level negotiations on pricing, contracts, delivery timelines, penalties, and warranties.<\/li>\n
      • Implement vendor performance management systems (KPIs, audits, scorecards).<\/li>\n
      • Drive vendor development and risk management strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Collaborate with Project, Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams for accurate planning and budgeting.<\/li>\n
        • Provide SCM insights in tendering, bidding, and project costing stages.<\/li>\n
        • Ensure on-time material availability aligned with project milestones.<\/li>\n
        • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficient resource allocation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Logistics & Inventory Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, warehousing, and site deliveries.<\/li>\n
          • Implement advanced inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce working capital.<\/li>\n
          • Monitor material consumption, wastage, and reconciliation across sites.<\/li>\n
          • Drive logistics cost optimization and efficiency improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Compliance, MIS & Systems<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Ensure adherence to company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements (GST, statutory, etc.).<\/li>\n
            • Lead ERP implementation and ensure accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting.<\/li>\n
            • Develop and monitor MIS dashboards, procurement analytics, and KPIs.<\/li>\n
            • Support internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Team Leadership & Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              • Lead, mentor, and scale the SCM team.<\/li>\n
              • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and drive accountability.<\/li>\n
              • Build a high-performance, process-driven SCM function.<\/li>\n
              • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering \/ Supply Chain \/ Commerce.<\/li>\n
                • 8\u201315 years of experience in Supply Chain \/ Procurement (Solar EPC mandatory).<\/li>\n
                • Proven experience in handling large-scale projects and high-value procurement.<\/li>\n
                • Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cost optimization.<\/li>\n
                • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel \/ analytics tools.<\/li>\n
                • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Preferred Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Knowledge of GST, logistics, import\/export, and international procurement.<\/li>\n
                  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making ability.<\/li>\n
                  • Experience in vendor development and supply chain digitization.<\/li>\n
                  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
