The Set-Up Tech II is responsible for maintaining optimum daily performance, run efficiency, and repeatability of all<\/p>\n

Thermoformer and Extruder machinery, equipment, and tools used in the Thermoforming manufacturing process. The<\/p>\n

Set-Up Tech II performs accurate and efficient mold set-ups and start-ups to maintain high level machine output and<\/p>\n

utilization. This position also participates in packing, shrink wrapping, and assembly activities.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<\/p>\n

\u2022 Performs all Set-Up Tech I responsibilities.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for monitoring part quality and completing First Article forms.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Manages the material system and coordinates silo changes.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Monitors mechanical systems for proper operations.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Troubleshoots and resolves processing problems as they arise.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Monitors scrap and makes necessary process changes to meet department KPI\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Executes and monitors plans and activities based on schedule of priorities.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Coordinates activities with various departments to achieve goals and objectives.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accurately completes daily system transactions within AS400 and Mattec systems.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs<\/p>\n

of the department and the organization.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports<\/p>\n

safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe\/hazardous conditions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and<\/p>\n

treats everyone with respect.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and<\/p>\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

\u2022 Possesses technical skills and experience and\/or the aptitude to learn and apply the skills necessary for efficient<\/p>\n

processing and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
