Software Engineer – Underwriting Team<\/h2>\n

Position Overview<\/h3>\n

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Level 2 to join our dynamic Underwriting team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions across hybrid development environments including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in C#, .NET, and React while demonstrating deep understanding of modern development practices.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n

  • Software Development:<\/strong>\u00a0Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, T-SQL, and React across multiple environments<\/li>\n
  • Technical Collaboration:<\/strong>\u00a0Work closely with product managers, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions<\/li>\n
  • System Architecture:<\/strong>\u00a0Contribute to architectural design ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability<\/li>\n
  • API & Microservices:<\/strong>\u00a0Build robust APIs, microservices, and front-end components with seamless integration<\/li>\n
  • Cloud Integration:<\/strong>\u00a0Deploy and manage solutions using cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) in hybrid environments<\/li>\n
  • DevOps Implementation:<\/strong>\u00a0Implement CI\/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes<\/li>\n
  • Performance Optimization:<\/strong>\u00a0Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, security, and availability issues<\/li>\n
  • Code Quality:<\/strong>\u00a0Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards<\/li>\n
  • Technology Innovation:<\/strong>\u00a0Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Environment & Infrastructure<\/h3>\n

    • Manage applications across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure stable, secure, and high-performance systems<\/li>\n
    • Support cloud migration initiatives and hybrid architecture transitions<\/li>\n
    • Implement governance and performance monitoring across all environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Compliance & Risk Management<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (SOX, PCI-DSS, financial sector standards)<\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on threat prevention and vulnerability management<\/li>\n
      • Develop audit procedures, risk assessments, and disaster recovery plans<\/li>\n
      • Maintain QA processes adhering to ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA requirements<\/li>\n
      • Create comprehensive test documentation and implement automated defect tracking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n

        Education & Certifications<\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Education:<\/strong>\u00a0Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n
        • Certifications:<\/strong>\u00a0Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Developer (highly preferred)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Experience Requirements<\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Minimum 5 years<\/strong>\u00a0of hands-on Software Engineering experience with C# and .NET<\/li>\n
          • Proven experience with\u00a0React or modern JavaScript frameworks<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Solid background with\u00a0cloud platforms<\/strong>\u00a0(Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)<\/li>\n
          • Experience with\u00a0DevOps practices<\/strong>\u00a0including CI\/CD, Docker, Kubernetes<\/li>\n
          • Proficiency with\u00a0Git and Agile methodologies<\/strong>\u00a0(Scrum, Kanban)<\/li>\n
          • Hybrid cloud strategies experience (preferred)<\/li>\n
          • Multi-disciplinary team collaboration experience (preferred)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Technical Skills<\/h4>\n

            • Proficiency in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environment management<\/li>\n
            • Microservices architecture and scalable API development<\/li>\n

            • T-SQL database experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MongoDB)<\/li>\n
