Job Title: SR. Category Manager<\/p>\n

Location: Georgetown, Tx 78628<\/p>\n

Reports To: VP of Sales & Operations<\/p>\n

Position Type: Full-Time; M-F 8AM-5PM<\/p>\n

Pay: Variable Range based on Experience<\/p>\n

cooperatives in the nation. We operate a full-service Warehouse and Distribution Center supplying goods and<\/p>\n

services to the convenience store industry.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:<\/p>\n

? Foster relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services<\/p>\n

? Generate and place purchase orders to ensure product availability meets demand<\/p>\n

? Conduct market research and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities<\/p>\n

? Continuously conduct market research such as reading trade magazines, attending trade shows, and<\/p>\n

shopping competitors in order to stay innovative within the C-Store Industry.? Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends<\/p>\n

? Determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category<\/p>\n

? Analyze and determine the best course of action to rectify low sales (Discontinue, Substitute, or Replace)<\/p>\n

? Managing the optimal portfolio of products, identifying gaps, and constant cleansing via SKU<\/p>\n

rationalization, to create value for our retail members<\/p>\n

? Facilitate quarterly meetings with vendors to review their products success<\/p>\n

? Creating marketing strategies for new product and executing the project from concept to launch<\/p>\n

? Review and analyze daily reports including, but not limited to out-of-stock, price increases, and pending<\/p>\n

PO\u2019s<\/p>\n

? Provide tactical level of operational support to Warehouse Department Heads<\/p>\n

Experience and Skills:? 5 years Procurement experience<\/p>\n

? Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field<\/p>\n

? Strong Category Management skills<\/p>\n

? Experience with data analysis and highly developed analytical skills<\/p>\n

? Contract negotiation skills<\/p>\n

? Ability to collaborate with internal departments and external customers\/clients to ensure the achievement<\/p>\n

of business objectives<\/p>\n

? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision<\/p>\n

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

? Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize<\/p>\n

? Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP<\/p>\n

Educational Requirements:<\/p>\n

? Bachelor\u2019s Degree, or equivalent work experience, knowledge, skills<\/p>\n
