We are looking for AI Research Engineers who are passionate about bridging human creativity and machine intelligence, and want to work at the intersection of AI, performance, and education.<\/p>\n

Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n

As an\u00a0AI Research Engineer<\/strong>, you\u2019ll design and develop machine learning systems that can\u00a0understand and evaluate human performance<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 starting with sound (music, speech) and later expanding to vision (movement, gestures).<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll collaborate with\u00a0Audio\/Vision Engineers<\/strong>,\u00a0Backend Developers<\/strong>, and\u00a0Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)<\/strong>\u00a0such as musicians, dancers, and coaches to convert expert intuition into measurable, scalable AI feedback.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Research, design, and train\u00a0AI models<\/strong>\u00a0for real-time performance evaluation across domains (music first, then dance\/speech\/chess).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Implement and optimize\u00a0deep learning architectures<\/strong>\u00a0for audio and\/or visual understanding (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Work closely with\u00a0Audio\/Vision Engineers<\/strong>\u00a0to build data pipelines for clean, real-time feature extraction (spectrograms, keypoints, pose sequences).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborate with\u00a0SMEs<\/strong>\u00a0to define \u201cperformance quality\u201d metrics and label datasets.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Develop\u00a0evaluation frameworks<\/strong>\u00a0to quantify model accuracy vs. expert feedback.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experiment with\u00a0cross-modal fusion<\/strong>\u00a0(audio + vision) for synchronized analysis in future domains like dance.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Optimize models for\u00a0low-latency inference<\/strong>\u00a0on web\/mobile devices (ONNX, TensorRT, TF Lite).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Document research findings, prototype outcomes, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.<\/p>\n

Required Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 3+ years of hands-on experience in\u00a0Machine Learning \/ Deep Learning<\/strong>\u00a0(PyTorch, TensorFlow).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong mathematical foundation in\u00a0signal processing, time-series analysis, and statistics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proven experience with\u00a0audio or visual data<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 music, speech, motion, or similar perceptual domains.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Familiarity with\u00a0MIR (Music Information Retrieval)<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Computer Vision<\/strong>\u00a0tasks like:<\/p>\n

o Pitch detection, beat tracking, timbre classification, speech analysis,<\/p>\n

o Pose estimation, gesture recognition, or motion tracking.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience with\u00a0model optimization and deployment<\/strong>\u00a0(TorchScript, ONNX, TensorRT).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong Python skills and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, Librosa, Essentia, OpenCV, or MediaPipe.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Research or published work in\u00a0audio AI, multimodal AI, or performance evaluation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
