Position:\u00a0Platform Data Engineer<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0Goregaon East, Mumbai\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Work Mode: Onsite<\/strong><\/p>\n

Years of Exp: 6+ Years\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Type of Hiring: Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n

Duration: 6 Months\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is not a standard Azure Data Engineer role \u2014 it is a hybrid Platform Engineering + Enterprise Data Engineering + Cloud Architecture role.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Translating business, data, architecture designs, requirements\/models into technical implementations.<\/li>\n
  • Building dynamic metadata-driven data ingestion patterns using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.<\/li>\n
  • Building and maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse (using Kimball methodology).<\/li>\n
  • Building and modelling source and business-focused data products in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.<\/li>\n
  • Implementing DevOps efficiencies using SaaS\/PaaS and custom tools.<\/li>\n
  • Implementing unit tests, integration testing, and debugging applications.<\/li>\n
  • Designing and managing Azure templates and components.<\/li>\n
  • Developing documentation, guidelines, and policies for data security and CI.<\/li>\n
  • Adopting Data Governance and Group Engineering practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • 6+ years of experience as a platform and data engineer.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and the Azure ecosystem.<\/li>\n
    • Expertise in Apache Spark, Python, and T-SQL.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Data Warehouse modelling (Kimball, Data Vault 2.0).<\/li>\n
    • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Azure Bicep, ARM, PowerShell).<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in Banking and Financial Services preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
