Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer\u2019s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and\/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.<\/p>\n

Must be US Citizen<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Required to show US passport or certified birth certificate with raised seal on day one.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Client specific background screening required – see Background Checks section below.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1st SHIFT: Mon- Fri, 630a-3p. 30 minute unpaid lunch. Occasional weekend OT.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Training will be on 1st shift for approximately 1-2 weeks. Mon-Fri 8am-430pm<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3 month temp assignment, potential for extension or temp to hire if internal situation changes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Will operate aerial lift (up to 16 ft), stand up and sit-down forklift, and drive golf cart to other parts of the building on company grounds. Experience preferred.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

80% of the job will be receiving and inventory. Experience strongly preferred with receding .<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Will be issuing parts and materials at crib window.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Steel toe shoes required<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dress code: jeans or khakis, no sweat pants or leggings.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Warehouse is not climate controlled. It can get hot in the summer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Can get dusty.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Customer service skills required.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Computer skills required.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

3+ months relevant experience and\/or training. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Relevant experience and\/or aptitude should include:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift \/ cherry picker experience preferred.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and\/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Strong communication and customer service skills.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and\/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
\nAccurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items; places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arranges storage to optimize crib space.
\nIssues product, goods, tools and\/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
\nEnters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules.); documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action.
\nRequests requisitions to replenish inventory.
\nAssists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results.
\nInspects and measures tools\/equipment for defects, wear and tear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
\nPrepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment.
\nDelivers tools or equipment to associate work locations.
\nInvestigates and locates lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
\nMay repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.
\nPerforms other related duties as requested.<\/p>\n
