Job Type: Direct hire<\/h4>\n

The Aerospace Procurement Manager will lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management activities to support the production, maintenance, and delivery of aerospace products and services. This role requires a proactive leader to drive our procurement efforts.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with aerospace production schedules, customer requirements, and business objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for aerospace materials, machined components, avionics, electronics, raw materials, special processes, tooling, and outsourced services.<\/li>\n
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term supply continuity and competitive pricing.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, RFQs, bid analyses, and contract negotiations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Supplier Management & Performance<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance measurement programs.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor supplier delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost performance through established KPIs.<\/li>\n
    • Partner with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to resolve supplier nonconformances and corrective actions.<\/li>\n
    • Conduct supplier business reviews and participate in supplier audits as required.<\/li>\n
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with long-lead materials, capacity constraints, geopolitical issues, and supply disruptions.<\/li>\n
    • Develop inventory and sourcing strategies to support production continuity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Cost Management & Continuous Improvement<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Lead cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, value engineering, and process improvements.<\/li>\n
      • Analyze spend data and procurement metrics to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.<\/li>\n
      • Support make-versus-buy decisions and supplier consolidation initiatives.<\/li>\n
      • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance procurement performance and supply chain resilience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Leadership & Collaboration<\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Lead and develop procurement personnel, buyers, and purchasing specialists.<\/li>\n
        • Foster cross-functional collaboration between Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.<\/li>\n
        • Provide procurement status updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Qualifications:<\/h3>\n

          Education:<\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Experience:<\/h4>\n
              \n
            • 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.<\/li>\n
            • Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic supplier relationships.<\/li>\n
            • Experience with ERP\/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or Epicor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Knowledge & Skills:<\/h4>\n
                \n
              • Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n
              • Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.<\/li>\n
              • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.<\/li>\n
              • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
